Sheila has over 25 years of experience in human resources consulting, dispute resolution and business transformation across international financial institutions, ICT and professional services. Sheila has a particular interest in harnessing differences and diversity in the workplace for transformational outcomes that enhance business delivery and engage employees in their roles.
She has recently worked with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) developing its approach to business development with corporate clients and international organisations, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as Head of HR for the Banking division with 1000 staff based in London and in emerging markets. Sheila partnered with the First Vice President for Banking providing advice and guidance on all HR matters in a time of unprecedented growth. She also initiated and led a number of organisation-wide strategic projects including the set up of new field offices and decentralisation of talent from London, introduction of mediation as part of the internal justice process, a new job classification and competency framework. As a mediator Sheila handles commercial and employment/workplace disputes regularly in both French and English.
